Our VA Compensation & Pension service is dedicated to assisting Veterans in navigating the complexities of disability claims. As your Post Service Officer, I’m here to provide the expert guidance and education on the compensation and pension benefits process. I ensure a seamless referral to the FDVA or County Veteran Service Office, helping you every step of the way to advocate for your well-being.
Education
At our organization, we are dedicated to providing educational opportunities for Veterans and their dependents. By helping you understand various resources resources like the Post 9/11 GI Bill (Ch 33), Vocational Rehabilitation (Ch 31), and DEA (Ch 35) we ensure that transitioning into civilian life is as smooth as possible. Our mission is to empower Veterans through education and support, paving the way for successful futures.
Post Service Officer
A proven and dedicated community leader in Ocala, Chad has been appointed as the new Post Service Officer for American Legion Post 27. With six years of naval service including deployments aboard two destroyers and an amphibious assualt ship, he was frontline in anti‑piracy and anti‑drug operations. Chad brings personal experience in dealing with his own service-related injuries and navigating the many resources in our community over the past decade. Chad brings both firsthand experience and heartfelt compassion to this role.
